Hello David, thanks for your visit and comment on "Ludwig". Yes, the photo was taken in spring and yes, it is a hawthorn bush but a very scrawny one. All my birdies sit there and wait or eat, flying back and forth to the window sills of my cabin.

Thanks for the comment David.Yes. I used a Circular Polarizing lens. I took 3 shots and merged as HDR.
