Lintang the Bali Aga girl

Again posting teh portrait of the Bali Aga young lady called Lintang.
The Bali Aga at the Danau Batur are uniquem on Bali due her a the culturally tradition people keep in the isolated Bali Aga village.

The Trunyanese are often referred to as Bali Pégunungan (Mountain Balinese), which refers to a conservative, pre-Hindu way of life with ancient, neolithic customs and a very definite avoidance of outside influences.
Lintang the girl is educated above average and speaking nealy a fluent English language.

There are around eight villages that are home to the Balinese Aga on Bali to those I visited only two. These are Trunyan village, Tenganan village, and the other are Pedawa village, Tigawasa village, Julah village, Cempaga village, Sembiran village, and Sidatapa village.
The location of all these villages is spread under the foot of the mountain in Bali.

In Tenganan habe ich einmal in einem der Langhäuser übernachtet, ich glaube es war 1980 oder 81. Da war dieses Mädchen ganz bestimmt noch nicht geboren.
Die Dias aus diesem Ort könnte ich eigentlich mal scannen und zeigen. Bestimmt sieht es da heute ganz anders aus.

  Das Bild von Lintang ist ein Ausschnitt von einem früheren Posting. Lintang ist jetzt 22 Jahre alt, geboren 2002. Aber sie lebt in Trunyan am Danau Batur See und geht in Kintamani in die Schule.
  Ich war schon immer an die souveräne Kultur der Bali Aga Bevölkerung interessiert und wohnte, wie offensichtlch auch Du, einmal in Tenganan. Die Leute sind ausgesprochen freundlich und zeigen ihre Kultur mit offener Herzlichkeit. Ich bin der Meinung, wer nicht einmal die Bali Aga Menschen besuchte, hat auf Bali viel vesäumt.
