Dieser riesige Sandhaufen entstand vor etwa achtzig Millionen Jahren und ist die älteste Wüste auf unserem Planeten.
Namib bedeutet „leerer Platz“oder „leerer Ort“ und gehört zum UNESCO Welterbe.
