About me
Writing about myself is one of those things that I do not like to do nor do I consider it an easy task. I would much rather take pictures than write.
At any rate, I began to take my first photographs at the tender age of some 16 years with a magnificent Nikon F2 camera which my father gave to me. Needless to say that my beginnings were in B/W and I learned to develop and print in my own darkroom. The trial and error method is tedious, but in the long run you learn the trade and it sticks to you forever.
At some point in my photographic adventure I decided that I would like to do this for a living and for life and I turned pro from an amateur.
Passing from architecture, portrait and still photography at some point I decided to combine my passion for cars with my know-how in photography and that is where my focus has remained ever since - cars. Predominantly I travel the world to events with historic cars, but I don't snob exciting new cars.
The passion for landscape and architecture has remained as well as the love for the beauty of monochrome which I still produce, even if now it is done digitally.
Over the years, I have worked for numerous illustrous clients, had my share of exhibitions and won some national and international recognitions which only confirm to me that my choice to do this for a living was not a wrong one.
If now you enjoy my images and/or feel that you should criticize them, I shall only be grateful for the attention you grant me and wish you well.
Cheers everyone, do what you love and love what you do and you can do little wrong!
AH YES, I MUST NOT FORGET TO MENTION: ALL IMAGES ARE PROTECTED BY INTERNATIONAL COPYRIGHT LAWS AND YOU ARE NOT WELCOME TO HELP YOURSELF! SO, BE RESPECTFUL OF THE WORK OF OTHERS AND, IF YOU ARE REALLY SO KEEN ON HAVING AN IMAGE, JUST ASK POLITELY AND YOU MIGHT JUST BE SURPRISED!
