2000-1 Cracks in the Machine
Not much left !
The original idea was to show the one dollar in the $2000 dollar wrapped with the implied theme of dwindling money. Looking at the image on the computer I saw the cracks and chips in the concrete which I didn't notice when I took the picture. The cracks and chips brought added meaning to the image as to why the cash is dwindling. Sometimes we are given gifts.
First picture I've taken in months and it was with my cell phone camera.

a leftover bill… the last of the monetary mohicans! dollars to doughnuts, there's a story behind it… in any case, the lonely buck must be feeling strangely footloose and fancy free, so suddenly relieved of the burden of its pals and ready to blow away or be picked up by a lucky finder. a meaningful motif, ken! and yes, i agree, the cracks and fissures are great! when i first spotted them, crazily enough, i had to think of michelangelo's fresco: "the creation of adam"… man has come a long way, rising from the mud, yet stumbling across those rocky roads of corruption over and over again, too…; ) greetings, sabine.Sue Thompson 03/02/2016 8:33
I think that it will take many trillions of such notes to repair all of the cracks in our world, but it will take much love and understanding also........:))
