In der lichten Halle reihen sich die imposanten marmornen Grabmale
von Michelangelo, Galilei, Machiavelli, Rossini und Bruni aneinander.
Erst im 19. Jh. wurde dem Florentiner Dichter Dante Alighieri hier auch ein Denkmal errichtet.
