Durian Chanee sold in Yangon
Widely known and revered in southeast Asia as the "king of fruits", the durian is distinctive for its large size, unique odour, and formidable thorn-covered husk.
One of the most popular and sought after durian varieties in Burma Chanee is soft, buttery, and has a sophisticated bitter accent in its flavor. It reminds me somewhat of the Thailandian Durian varieties I love so much.
Most foreigners refuse to eat or smell this fruit but once they discover the taste most of the will like it.
I needed a long time to get accustomed the great taste of this king of the fruit, now it is my favorite.
By the way: As reported in the media Tribunnews on Java, Indonesia, people paid for ONE fruit of the J-Queen durian sort 14 Million Rupias = 808 € or 960 US $

Offen gesagt: Ich habe die Durian in Indonesien mal probiert und ... na ja ... ich lasse es bei diesem einmaligen Experiment. Aber jeder hat eben einen ganz eigenen Geschmack, und das ist ja auch gut so. Lg HerbertRalf Melchert 06/08/2020 9:56
