a pretty mushroom I found last week in a very boggy and wet area in the Richmond Nature Reserve ..

It's a Psathyrella candolleana or in English : Pale Brittlestem. This fungus occurs in all kinds of woodlands and woodland clearings as well as on timber buried in damp grassland, but sometimes also on lawns. Can be found throughout the European mainland and in North America. Edible but not worthwhile in terms of taste.
