St Petrikirche in Melle wurde nach dem 30.jährigen Krieg in den Jahren 1651/53 erbaut. Durch einen Brand 1720 zerstört. der Wiederaufbau erfolgte 1720/23 als Hallenkirche mit gotischen Elementen und Barocker Ausstattung.
