Was macht man, wenn man beruflich allein in Düsseldorf ist und die Kamera dabei hat? Klar, man geht zum Medienhafen ;-)
Dort stehen auch die Gehry-Bauten, auch „Neuer Zollhof“ genannt. Dies sind 3 dekonstruktivistische Bauten des Architekten und Designers Frank Gehry. Die drei Gebäude zeigen weder Gesimse noch Sockel. Auffallend ist die Krümmung der Fassade mit einer „fließenden, gewellten Oberfläche“. Sie wurden am 19. Oktober 1999 eingeweiht und erstrahlten an diesem Abend im wunderbaren Licht der Stadt …
