The upright position of the pole has no shadows..located in the vastness of the beach is an eyecatcher by nature..intriguing picture, it transmits some sort of unconcious proper of the man when confronted in a close colission with the nothing..

After processing this shot in BW I wasn't sure if I should present it, but after all
photography means also to document a particular visual experience. That's
what I'm doing ... this lonely pole on a lonely beach ending in fog is a visual
experience! regards Berthold
my first thought when spotting the preview: "insert coin to start trip to china via center of the earth!" my second thought (after clicking): sniff, sniff – pee! ; ) the canine social hot spot notion, just like leo… greetings, sabine.
