The walk through Naudanda
My first attempt to visit Nepal was in 1971 when East Pakistan got an independed nation called Bangladesh. A sudden close of all borders to Nepal and a landslide forced me to change my tours and to postpone my visit to Nepal.
1978 I came back to Nepal and found my pleasure, discovering Kathmandu, the valley and trecking to some places in nepalese Himalaya. All my memory I made in this mountain country awake my wanderlust to return as much as my time (and my budged) allowed a visit again, so I trecked to the Annapurna base camp, to Muktinath. It was one of my nicest trekking tours I did.
Today, 34 years later, the atmosphere has changed into a busy highway. Thousands walkers, tourists, porters, guides, off road cars give the travelers a different impression.
This slide photo from the old time I scanned by a Nikon CoolScan 5000 ED from Kodachrome 100. I tried to do a good edition but the result is never the same as a capture with a modern high solution Digi camera.
