Thunderstorm at the Kao Laem dam

The small town Sangklaburi lies at the end of the newly built dam Kao Laem, also named after the newly appointed King Rama X Vajiralongkorn.
Sangklaburi is an idyllic place off the beaten path.
Many of the villagers speak Mo as their native language. We were not surprised when they did not understand our Thai language, but we quickly learned that the simple word "Dangoon" simply means "thank you".
